Kane made his first appearance in the World Wrestling Federation on October 5, 1997 at Hell in the Cell when the 7-foot monster tore the door off of the cage to get to his brother, The Undertaker.

Until that day the world believed that Kane was killed in the fire along with his parents but, somehow, he survived. The only person that knew he was still alive was Paul Bearer who was eventually reveled to be his father.

That April, Kane and The Undertaker fought in the first ever Inferno Match at "Unforgiven".

Less than a year after arriving in the WWF, Kane became the World Wrestling Federation Champion by defeating "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at the 1998 King of the Ring

As of now, Kane has become a loyal member to Mr. McMahon's Team Corporate and is their "Minister of Destruction."
